Elections Nova Scotia Issues 2009 Political Contributions Annual Report

The 2009 Political Contributions Regime Annual Report contains disclosure statements filed by:
- the four recognized political parties in Nova Scotia their electoral district associations for the 2009 calendar year;
- candidates for the 9 June 2009 Provincial General Election; and
- candidates for the 20 October 2009 Antigonish and Inverness by-elections.
Section 14 of the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act (Nova Scotia) requires that the statements disclose the names and addresses of all contributors who contributed more than $50 during the 2009 calendar year.
Also included are the annual reports of the recognized political parties summarizing official income tax receipts issued for 2009 as well as analysis of the political contribution regime.
