Quebec to hold By-election in Kamouraska-Témiscouata on 29 November 2010

31 October 2010 | By-elections

The Chief Electoral Officer of Quebec has announced that there will be a by-election in the electoral district of Kamouraska-Témiscouata on 29 November 2010. There are also three federal by-elections scheduled for this date.

Advance voting will also be available every day from the 19th until the 25th of November.

In an effort to ensure that official agents of candidates are aware of the rules for by-elections, notably election finance rules, the Chief Electoral Officer will be hosting a teleconference call for official agents. This conference call will be held on 4 November at 19:00.

Official agents and their associates can register for the conference call by calling 1-877-327-2083.

For additional information regarding the conference call, you can call Mr. Daniel Lauzier from the Election Finance office at 1-866-225-4087.
